Prostrations

Bows

With the daily prostrations (108) we pay respect to Buddha. Body and mind unite in a respectful action that reduces ego and arrogance and makes us humble.

The prostrations help to erase our karma that we have made with our body. Through the regular practice of prostrations, the cardiovascular system and blood circulation are strengthened.

Meditation

Meditation means pacifying and caring for the mind, without the use of technology. It is always wise to be the owner of one’s thoughts, and not to get caught by any kind of thinking. It is most important that the intense desire to meditate is accompanied by a strong belief.

Believing in Buddha (the Absolute, the Truth), Dharma and Sangha rests and settles the mind in quietude, and in this tranquility, the mind reveals itself.

Chanting

With Buddhist chants, we praise Buddha, Dharma and Sangha and pay them great respect and veneration. In singing, we attain the teaching of Buddha and receive a special protective energy with body and mind.

Thus singing has an outstanding quality. We also engage in this practice exclusively together in the meditation centres or during retreats.

Mantra

The mantra is a precious jewel that is traditionally passed on from Buddhist master to student, enabling them receive the protective energy of Buddha.

With its 21 syllables, the mantra carries an exquisite power that brings undiscriminating benefits to all. Reciting the mantra helps to erase ignorance and supports us on the way to meet the true self.

Ki Song

Ki Song

Ki Song describes the teaching of energizing movement from specific exercises for body & mind. A series of finely tuned movement exercises causes an attentive movement, which collects the mind in calm composure.

In the flow of the breath, the exercises vitalize and center and lead, easily integrated into everyday life, to a noticeable strengthening of physical power.
